The regional director of the Heywood road site for SISK is Shane Glynn Who is operating from and staying at Hotel Minella Clonmel, as he does not want to be seen at the site or to be found out and recognised . He has brought in two other project management and contraction companies. Those are -

Riain development- formerly Dunreen Construction Ltd - of Castlebar Co.Mayo . Engineering, construction and project management owned by Shane and Margaret Ryan, are also Involved with the running of the site.

AtkinsRealis - Project designer also hired by sisk to run the site, is based In Cork , Dublin , Galway & Dundalk .

Ward personnel are the recruitment agency being used to advertise and recruit workers for the site .

The Hauler to the site for materials such as stone and waste is Barry Quinn Transport ltd

The Stone and concrete supplier to the site are Roadstone Ireland which is a CRH company.

The site managers and project managers have been assured by head office (Sisk) that no legal ramifications will come their way should any accidents occur on site as the state will ensure any such incidents are hidden and kept out of public knowledge, it has also been revealed that the guards have Been instructed to show a sign of force and display a zero tolerance approach to the protestors on the site in order to discourage members of the public From gathering in the area, this is done to protect the site from any video evidence of any H&S breaches and accidents. This project is has to proceed at breakneck speed at all costs.

Clonmel is site number 9 on the projects list. There is a number 10 site which will also be situated in the southeast.

◦ here is the most shocking bit in all this - In the site contract there is a clause between SISK, the developers and the OPW called a cost plus clause, meaning that the OPW will the cover extra cost of the project if it exceeds the current budget. Plus profits. No questions asked.

It would seem taxpayer money is no object.
